826 L.A.—one of McSweeney's nonprofit offshoots—is putting on the Yuk-Fest on September 10 at the Avalon. It will feature Janeane Garofalo, Patton Oswalt, Tim & Eric, Jimmy Pardo, Bill Burr, Al Madrigal, Bob Moore’s Amazing Mongrels, and a whole mess of special guests! If you're in the mood for (a) giving to a good cause, (b) being thoroughly entertained by some of the loudest and funniest voices in comedy, and (c) having a general blast, you ought to come by!
