Sigur Rós vs. Ryan McGinley

For the few who were fortunate enough to see Sigur Rós' Heima in select theaters when it was released last year were blessed with a cinematic jewel. Not only did it make us want to move to Iceland, but it pretty much convinced us that it's the only place on earth that humans haven't managed to screw up. The tumultuous landscape provided a beautiful background for live performances set in various locales around the island making this film one of the most pure marriages of cinematic and documentary footage.
