Simian Mobile Disco Takes On Deerhunter In New Remix

The audiophiles behind Simian Mobile Disco have done it again with a stellar edit of Deerhunter. While we don't know what song it is that they altered or what the premise behind the whole project was, it's a pretty great jam that edges dangerously close to the trippy while still maintaining dance floor cogency.
Bradford Cox's vocals are reduced to ethereal background washes while the group's rhythm section and spacey guitar melodies are transcended to new levels. Who would've thought that the Georgians' bedroom pop would make for such ambient electronic?
