We’re not sure how Robi Insinna (aka Headman) had time to finish up a new album with his busy schedule of crafting remixes for the likes of Chromeo, Punks Jump Up, The Gossip, Zombie Nation, Poney Poney and Roxy Music, along with running his own record label, Relish Recordings, and DJ'ing across Europe, but he did, and it’s a good’un.
Headman hit Anthem up with a couple tracks of his new release Catch Me, which came out on Berlin’s Gomma imprint in Europe the end of March. This is Robi’s third full-length album and continues with his trademark new wave/disco/electronica steez. The album includes collaborations with Jeremy Kerr (of A Certain Ratio fame), Don Cash (the Canadian new wave rapper Robi picked up for Relish back in ‘07) and the sweet voice of Tara (who has appeared on Robi’s previous two albums).
You can pickup the CD or vinyl release on import, or hop over to the iTunes store and download the whole shebang (including remixes by Bagraiders, Autokratz, Le Le and Tronik Youth).
