Since 1987 (by some counts), Mo Becha & David Fouquaert, a.k.a. the Glimmers, have been DJ'ing as a pair all around the globe, never losing any steam and always positioning themselves as lasting names in the electronic/DJ community. While their current moniker arrived after the turn of the millennium, they've been pumping out beats, scratching vinyl, producing killer remixes, and throwing spectacular parties for much longer.
Now, the guys behind one of the best DJ Kicks compilations, Fabric.live sets, and Eskimo Records releases have jumped on board Tim Sweeny's radio program, "Beats In Space" for a fantastic live show that truly blows us away (and we're not just saying that because we dearly love these guys).
Check out the June 10 program right here or just cut to the chase and download the Glimmers' contribution. The program is loaded with bizarre samples, organic beats reinterpreted in a funky and off-kilter way, edging-on-cheesy synth melodies, and plenty of standard crowd-pleasing disco jams.
