David Allen's Pampelmoose music blog seems a little stale at points—one of the great post-punk/art-rock innovators of the last century has had a difficult time in finding his creative voice in 2008—but that's at least half the fun of reading it! From quaint insights to goofy video interviews, Allen's website is a neat piece of Gang of Four history.
The former GoF bassist just posted the entire Damaged Goods EP for free download today, and now we want to return the gift. The 1978 EP has been floating around as vinyl and on compilations over the past thirty years, but to get the MP3s as ripped by Allen himself is something special. The accompanying article is also worth a read.
