The Sundance Channel's sixth episode of this season's Live from Abbey Road airs this Thursday at 10 PM EST, and we wanted to give you a quick peek at what's in store!
As usual, the show features three groups that have been invited to the legendary Abbey Road Studio in London. This week's episode begins with the Hoosiers, moves on to the Black Keys, and finishes with Manu Chau... a global hodge-podge, to say the least.
Regardless of artist, song, or style, Live from Abbey Road is always a pleasure; when else will you be able to see established bands freak out and have a blast at the world's most famous studio? It's like letting children loose in a endless candy store.
Check out some general montage clips here (left column) and view snippets of Thursday's episode here. Black Keys' is pretty forceful and charismatic, but we might like Pitchfork.tv's Q&A with the stoned-out-of-their-minds duo a little more, still. Classic!
