We all love us a Summer anthem, and British dance floor dons Basement Jaxx seem to churn 'em out the best. Now, with their new single, "Raindrops," they're making sure we don't forget that any time soon!
The jam, as expected, is freaky fun. It glisten and gleams in this pop ballad sort of way while being underscored by a heavy Euro rave beat that is, let's be honest, an insatiable guilty pleasure for us all.
The tune debuted on Pete "This is Pete Tong!" Tong's BBC 1 show, Essential Mix, while we were raging in Indio, and while we don't know too much about the album (tentatively titled Scars) the drop will be on, we're excited by anything that the two Londoners are behind―especially when Grace Jones, Yoko Ono, Yo! Majesty, Lightspeed Champion, Cyndi Lauper, Santigold, and Sam Sparro are rumored to be contributing to it.
