Jason Lee vs. Midlake

When Jason Lee started photographing for Anthem a few years ago, one of the first projects he produced was a beautiful Polaroid series featuring the Denton-based band, Midlake. At the time, we had their The Trials of Van Occupanther on loop and waited patiently to get our greedy hands on another full-length. That time has come.
The band's third release,The Courage of Others drops in early February, which contains a 13-minute documentary filmed by Lee himself on an old Bolex camera, you can check out a song sample above set to some footage of the band.
