Philippe Starck has one hell of a resume―from laying out restaurants and hotels to designing chairs and toothbrushes―and has now made it one item longer with his Fossil collaboration. The resultant line of watches is sleek, sexy, and archetypally "Starckian."
Starck already designed a substantial collection of digital and analog wristwatches for Fossil but is debuting his most impressive line yet, the Basel Collection, on May 25. The summer selection of timekeepers is "beyond basic... with the elegance of the minimum, the Basel Collection distinguishes itself from the great mass of ordinary times." We couldn't agree more; you'll find us in the queue for these sophisticated and simple yet bold watches the day they hit stores.
